Gary Valenciano, KZ Tandingan, and Yeng Constantino to Headline Newport World Resorts’ Grand Countdown to 2027

Newport World Resorts is preparing to welcome 2027 with an all-star gathering of Filipino music talents as Gary Valenciano, KZ Tandingan, and Yeng Constantino headline The Grand Countdown to 2027 on December 31, 2026, at the Marriott Grand Ballroom.

Carrying the theme “Dance with the Stars,” this year's New Year's Eve celebration will bring together some of the country's most recognizable performers for an evening of live music, dance, and entertainment leading up to the midnight countdown.

Joining the three headliners are Gab Valenciano and Kiana V, alongside AMP Big Band, JMRTN & The Retrospect Band, and dance group The Manoeuvres. Singer and performer Nicole Laurel Asensio will serve as the evening's host.

Leading the celebration is Mr. Pure Energy himself, Gary Valenciano, whose career spanning more than four decades has made him one of the Philippines' most enduring live entertainers. Known for his energetic choreography and powerful vocals, Valenciano has built a repertoire of crowd favorites, including “Hataw Na” and “Di Bale Na Lang,” that continue to resonate with audiences across generations.

Joining him is KZ Tandingan, whose distinctive vocal style and ability to move effortlessly between pop, R&B, and soul have established her as one of the country's most versatile contemporary singers. The Soul Supreme is expected to bring her signature musicality and commanding stage presence to the year-end celebration.

Yeng Constantino will also take the stage, bringing her collection of pop-rock anthems that have become familiar favorites among Filipino music fans. With hits such as “Hawak Kamay,” “Salamat,” and “Chinito,” the singer-songwriter adds another dimension to the evening's OPM-centered lineup.

The celebration will also feature a family connection as Gary Valenciano shares the lineup with his children, Gab Valenciano and Kiana V. Gab, recognized for his dynamic choreography and high-energy dance performances, will contribute to the evening's dance-inspired theme, while Kiana V brings her contemporary R&B and pop sound to the stage.

Adding variety to the musical program are AMP Big Band and JMRTN & The Retrospect Band, whose performances will feature live music and retro-inspired favorites. Dance group The Manoeuvres will round out the entertainment lineup with choreographed performances.

Apart from the performances, guests can look forward to a New Year's Eve dining experience prepared by the culinary team of Manila Marriott Hotel. The event combines live entertainment and festive dining as guests gather to celebrate the arrival of 2027.

This year's festivities also mark a new development for Newport World Resorts and the soon-to-open Westside Resort, which are set to stage their first twinbill New Year's Eve celebration.

For the first time, the two integrated resort destinations under Travellers Group will simultaneously hold their respective countdown events. While Newport World Resorts continues its established Grand Countdown tradition, Westside Resort is expected to introduce its own year-end celebration following its anticipated opening.

The simultaneous festivities represent another milestone in the group's expanding entertainment offerings, with both destinations preparing to welcome the new year through separate celebrations.

The Grand Countdown to 2027 takes place on December 31, 2026, at the Marriott Grand Ballroom, Manila Marriott Hotel, Newport World Resorts, Pasay City.
