October 12, 2026

CueCraft Entertainment brings Andrew Lloyd Webber’s acclaimed musical to RCBC Plaza, with tickets now on sale.

Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Sunset Boulevard will make its Philippine premiere at the Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium, RCBC Plaza, Makati, from August 18 to September 12, 2027. Presented by CueCraft Entertainment by arrangement with LW Entertainment Ltd., the musical will have a strictly limited engagement, with tickets now on sale.

Based on Billy Wilder’s 1950 film, the musical follows Norma Desmond, a former silent-film star determined to return to the spotlight. When she meets struggling screenwriter Joe Gillis, he is drawn into her world, setting the stage for a story of ambition, obsession, and faded Hollywood stardom.

With music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, book and lyrics by Don Black and Christopher Hampton, and orchestrations by David Cullen and Andrew Lloyd Webber, Sunset Boulevard features songs including “With One Look,” “As If We Never Said Goodbye,” and “The Perfect Year.”

The musical premiered in London’s West End in 1993 before opening on Broadway in 1994. Over the years, the role of Norma Desmond has been played by celebrated performers, including Glenn Close and Nicole Scherzinger, whose portrayals earned major theater awards.

The Philippine production will feature Filipino and international performers and creatives, with an original classic staging developed especially for local audiences. Further casting and creative team announcements will follow.

The production comes from CueCraft Entertainment, the producing arm of CueCraft Studio. Members of its team have worked on international touring productions, Philippine theater shows, concerts, and immersive experiences. Through its own productions, the company aims to champion Filipino artistry and build collaborations with artists and partners from around the world.
