TRENTAHIN Halloween 2026 Brings '90s Nostalgia and Childhood Nightmares to Makati
October 26, 2026
Too old for all-nighters but too young to stop partying? TRENTAHIN is bringing back the music, memories, and childhood scares of the '90s for a Halloween celebration made for Manila's millennials.
Remember when watching Shake, Rattle & Roll was enough to keep you awake at night? Or when the Halloween specials of Magandang Gabi... Bayan made you think twice about turning off the lights?
This Halloween, those childhood nightmares are making a comeback—but this time, they're bringing a party with them.
TRENTAHIN: HOME BY 12MN is celebrating its first-ever Halloween edition on October 31, 2026, at The Fun Roof in Poblacion, Makati, promising a night filled with throwback music, nostalgic scares, and familiar faces from Manila's nightlife scene. And the best part? You don't have to stay out until sunrise to enjoy it.
Too Old for All-Nighters, Too Young to Stop Partying
There's something about being in your 30s and 40s. You still love a good night out, but the idea of waiting until midnight for the party to get started doesn't sound quite as appealing as it once did. That's exactly the crowd TRENTAHIN had in mind.
Launched in June 2026, TRENTAHIN is a recurring nightlife experience that brings together millennials who grew up listening to the same music, watching the same television shows, and experiencing Manila's nightlife during the 2000s.
Its signature concept, HOME BY 12MN, is refreshingly simple: start the party earlier, bring the energy sooner, and let guests enjoy a proper night out without sacrificing the following day.
But don't mistake the name for a strict curfew. Those who want to keep the night going can still enjoy the afterparty.
Since its launch, TRENTAHIN has welcomed a reported 4,689 guest visits across five editions, with its September and October events attracting 1,106 and 1,023 attendees, respectively. The party series has also generated more than five million documented social media views.
What began as a throwback party is becoming a regular gathering for millennials looking to reconnect with the music and experiences of their younger years.
This Halloween, Your Childhood Nightmares Are Back
For its first Halloween celebration, TRENTAHIN is taking nostalgia in a slightly spooky direction.
Instead of simply revisiting the music of the '90s and 2000s, the upcoming edition draws inspiration from the horror movies, television specials, and characters that terrified an entire generation of Filipino kids.
Think Shake, Rattle & Roll, the unforgettable Halloween episodes of Magandang Gabi... Bayan, and the kind of childhood scares that made sleeping with the lights on seem like a perfectly reasonable decision.
Guests are encouraged to come in Halloween costumes, particularly looks inspired by '90s horror.
It's a distinctly Filipino take on Halloween nostalgia, combining the memories of growing up in the '90s with the fun of dressing up and partying as adults.
After all, what's more nostalgic than revisiting the things that used to scare you—this time with a cocktail in hand?
DJ Mars Miranda Brings Back Manila's 2000s Clubbing Era
Of course, a proper millennial party needs the right soundtrack.
Headlining TRENTAHIN Halloween 2026 is DJ Mars Miranda, a familiar name to those who experienced Manila's clubbing scene during the 2000s.
Active since 2001, Miranda has performed at well-known nightlife venues including Temple and Republiq. He is also associated with the hip-hop and R&B sounds of Embassy's Snap, Crackle, Pop era.
For guests who remember those nights, his appearance offers a chance to revisit the music that defined a memorable chapter of Manila nightlife.
Expect a celebration of familiar beats, throwback favorites, and the kind of songs that can still get an entire crowd moving.
And for those who missed that era, it's an opportunity to experience a little of what made it special.
More Than Just a Throwback Party
Part of TRENTAHIN's appeal is how it turns shared memories into a social experience.
The party combines '90s and 2000s hits, karaoke sing-alongs, dancing, cocktails, and spontaneous crowd moments.
Its home at The Fun Roof also offers something different from a conventional nightclub.
Located in Poblacion, Makati, the rooftop entertainment venue features games, themed spaces, and interactive experiences, giving groups of friends several ways to enjoy their night together.
Whether you're dancing to your favorite throwback song, singing along with friends, or simply catching up over drinks, the idea is to recreate the fun of going out without the pressure of keeping up with the clubbing schedules of your twenties.
And judging by the turnout at its previous editions, plenty of millennials seem to agree.
A Growing Community of Manila Millennials
For Nikko Que, Co-Founder and CEO of The Nextperience Group, the concept was born from recognizing that growing older doesn't necessarily mean losing your love for nightlife.
"We created TRENTAHIN for a generation that still loves going out, but wants the night to fit the life we have now," Que shared.
He also noted how the response to the party series inspired the team to explore another side of millennial nostalgia for Halloween.
"Seeing thousands of people embrace it over five editions has been incredible. For our first Halloween edition, we wanted to take the nostalgia even further—not just bring back the music and memories, but even the things that scared us growing up."
The upcoming Halloween celebration marks another milestone for the growing TRENTAHIN community, particularly with advance table reservations already fully booked.
For a generation that grew up with VHS horror movies, unforgettable OPM and international hits, and Manila's bustling nightlife scene, TRENTAHIN offers a chance to revisit those memories with people who understand them.
Only now, there's no need to wait until midnight for the fun to begin.
