Philippines' Longest Running Craft Beer Festival Returns to Makati this May

Makati City, Philippines – The highly anticipated Mabrewhay Craft Beer Festival is set to return to the Ayala Triangle Gardens from May 8 to 10, 2026. This exciting event brings together the country’s finest craft breweries for a three-day celebration of local beer, food, and music, with admission free for all attendees.
Co-presented by Ayala Land and Make It Makati, Insignia Presents, and Engkanto Brewery, the festival marks the return of the longest-running craft beer celebration in the Philippines.
Last year, the festival attracted over 50,000 craft beer enthusiasts, showcasing the growing appreciation for craft beer among Filipino audiences. This year’s festival will feature Engkanto Brewery alongside prominent local brewers from across the nation, each presenting their unique creations.
Participating breweries include Bauhinia Brewery (Cebu), Boondocks Brewing Co. (Marikina City), Brujo Craft Brew (Makati City), Bulul Brewery (Pampanga), Craftbeer Sanctuary (Tagaytay), District Brewing Company (Mandaluyong City), Elias Wicked Ales and Spirits (BGC), Mitchell’s Backyard Brewery (Quezon City), Monkey Eagle Brewery (Tagaytay), Palm Tree Abbey (Makati City), Pama Craft Beverages (Batangas), Papa Bolo (Tagaytay), and Treeline Ales (Quezon City).
The local craft beer scene has been gaining international recognition, with local breweries earning accolades from prestigious competitions such as the World Beer Awards, the Asia Beer Championship, and the inaugural Philippine Craft Beer Cup. The festival is supported by the Philippine Craft Brewers Association and the Manila Mashers Homebrewing Club, with an emphasis on both established and emerging brewers. Attendees can also explore a sensory booth featuring brewing ingredients, courtesy of Yakima Chief Hops from the US, designed to enhance appreciation of the craft.
Beyond beer, guests can indulge in a curated selection of food from various merchants, including Engkanto Taps, Berry’s Deli, Fiasfud, Burgers by Alvin Cailan, Butterboy, and many more.
The festival will also showcase lifestyle and retail brands, including Official Mabrewhay Merch, Polilya, Destileria Barako, and Moonlight Tattoo.
Live entertainment will bring energy and excitement to the festival throughout the weekend, with performances from local bands and DJs such as fitterkarma, Nameless Kids, bird., August Wahh, OZO, Anima Tierra, and many others.
