Have you ever dreamed of just lounging on the grass with your picnic basket while watching a Shakespearean production for free? With maybe a glass of wine or two?
No need to fly to Central Park NYC to experience this.
Ayala Land and Make It Makati, in partnership with CAST (Company of Actors in Streamlined Theatre), proudly present Shakespeare in the Park featuring Twelfth Night at Ayala Triangle right in the middle of Ayala Avenue in Makati.

This abridged version, directed by Nelsito Gomez, features an ensemble cast of celebrated theatre artists:
Teia Contreras

Jillian Ita-as
Altair Alonso
Cathy Azanza-Dy
Tarek El Tayech
Dean Daniel Rosen

Ayala Land and Make It Makati remain committed to engaging the community through art, creating spaces where culture and creativity are accessible to everyone. By integrating public art into the city’s open spaces, the estate continues to weave art into everyday life.
“We are excited to collaborate and partner with CAST PH and talented artists Nelsito Gomez and Sarah Facuri in what we hope to be an annual offering in Makati. As part of our vision, we want to make art accessible to all, integrated into the very fabric of the city,” said Christopher Mohnani, Director of Arts and Culture for Makati Estates. “Through programs like “Shakespeare in the Park,” we hope to bring meaningful encounters with art to the community and strengthen Makati’s place as the country’s hub for creativity and culture.”
“We’re honored to be collaborating with Mr. Mohnani, Ayala Land, and Make It Makati. Staging dynamic, engaging, and entertaining productions of Shakespeare is part of the core mission of CAST to present world classics in non-intimidating ways”, adds Artistic Director of CAST PH, Nelsito Gomez. “And what an initiative to create a show in the middle of Ayala Triangle for free. Twelfth Night was a title that immediately popped into our heads for its beautiful poetry and absolutely hilarious plot. We also have some of Manila’s best actors working to make sure this event will be an experience that will stay with audiences long after the bows.”
Admission is free, opening the doors of Shakespeare’s world to all. Everyone is welcome to attend - from lifelong theatre lovers to first-time audiences.
