This April, theater company Infinite Cantina is proud to present its newest offering, Saglit Lang, a new play written by BJ Crisostomo that is a testament to how art can become our greatest comfort and push towards growth.
Saglit Lang tells the story of a child fleeing a violent reality and finding temporary shelter inside an abandoned theater. In this seemingly silent and lifeless space, the child encounters a Maestro, a guide who opens the door to the magic of theater. Through an exploration of moments from various classic dramatic texts with the Maestro, the child comes to realize the life-giving flame that theater ignites in those who seek to understand humanity in all its pain and joy.

Theater is both a reflection of our reality and a torch for our voices. With this as the foundation for the play, the show aims to share the power of transformation, light, and hope that theater can bring to audiences and artists alike.
Saglit Lang stars Ron Capinding as the Maestro and Rico del Rosario and BJ Crisostomo as Bata.
Leading the creative team is Dr. Anton Juan as Director. Joining him are Irene Romero as Lights Designer, Lawyn Cruz as Set Designer, Santi Obcena as Costume Designer, Kyle Confesor as Sound Designer, and Juls Castro as Projection Designer.
